GETTING TO KNOW YOUR LANEBLADE®
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The fill cap must be installed at all
times in order to prevent damage
to the hydraulic unit.
PUMP MOTOR SPECIFICATIONS
Motor Voltage
12 VDC
Motor Horsepower
2 HP
Motor Power
1.5 kW
Reservoir Volume
0.83 Gallon
Reservoir Usable Volume
1 Gallon
Pressure Rating
2000 PSI
The hydraulic system is equipped with a 1,200 PSI
crossover relief valve. This valve allows fluid to
flow safely back to the reservoir from the wing
cylinders if necessary. Due to this crossover relief
valve, if the wings are struck so that pressure in the
cylinders increases to over 1,200PSI, the hydraulic
fluid will flow back to the reservoir and the wings
will fold back to their stowed position.
The hydraulic system is also equipped with velocity
fuses. In case of an unexpected hydraulic fluid
loss, the velocity fuses will prevent the LaneBlade®
from dropping from the stowed position.
IN-CAB CONTROLLER
The controller gives you full control of the
LaneBlade® from within the cab of the vehicle.
Control functions automatically timeout (shut off)
after a period of time. This helps reduce wear on
the pump motor and prevent unnecessary battery
drain. All functions will time out after 5 to 6
seconds. Float cancels after 20 minutes.
After being idle for approximately 22 minutes, the
control will automatically turn off and the indicator
light located at the center of the keypad will blink
from red to green. To restart the control, turn the
control OFF (ON/OFF switch) and then back to ON.
The controller must be returned to
its cradle when not in use. To
prevent accidental use or the possibility of the
controller falling behind brake/accelerator pedals,
etc., always return the controller in its cradle.
