*
Operating Manoeuvring speed at
‘MTOW’
refers to maximum gross weight =
600kg (1323lb).
**
Operating Manoeuvring speed at
‘Minimum weight’
is calculated based on typical light empty
weight (360kg), a single lightweight occupant (55kg) and 45 minutes reserve fuel (10kg) =
415kg
(915lb).
Typical operating weight will usually always be much heavier.
Note: Refer to Section 5.3 for conversion to Calibrated Airspeed.
2.0.1
ASI Markings:
White Arc:
Flap extended speed range
– flapped stall speed to maximum allowable with
flaps deployed (42-84 KIAS).
Green Arc:
Normal operating Speed range (47-112 KIAS).
Yellow Arc:
Caution speed range
– Do not exceed this speed except in smooth air and
then with caution (112-140 KIAS).
Red Line:
Do not exceed this speed in any operation (140 KIAS).
2.1 AIRCRAFT SERVICE CEILING
15000 feet ASL.
(Note that RAAus registered aircraft must adhere to the standard 10000 feet ASL limit imposed)
