Partial setting:
When you dial the car alarm number from an authorized phone (see the next
paragraph), the car alarm switches to partially set mode
3)
. The inside of the
car is not guarded by wireless internal detectors and so neither a voltage drop
detector, nor any supplementary detectors are activated in this mode.
Unsetting the car alarm:
Unlocking the car with its remote control also unsets the car alarm.
2) Remote control via your telephone
With the SMS commands:
Set / unset / check vehicle status – car alarm functions can be controlled via
a mobile phone. The car alarm is able to send alarm messages and dial up to
4 telephone numbers (hereinafter “the authorized phone“) when an alarm is
triggered. The authorized phone can be used to send commands by means of
SMS messages to the alarm phone number (see the table on the following page).
By dialling in from authorized phone numbers
3)
:
If the car alarm is controlled with RC-8x controllers, you just need to dial the
car alarm number (the ignition key must be switched off). The car alarm will
not answer the call (i.e. the call is not charged for) and its status will change
(set – unset – set...). If the car alarm is controlled with an original remote
control, dialling in will activate partial setting only (see paragraph 1b).
The car alarm may confi rm the change of status with an SMS message
3)
.
If you forget the wording of SMS message commands, you can ask the alarm unit for “help” by sending
the HELP command.
