Required tools and materials
Before you begin
This unit should not be used by individuals (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities;
nor by people lacking experience or knowledge thereof, unless they are supervised by an individual who is responsible
for their safety, or have received prior instructions about using this unit from such an individual.
IMPORTANT!
This appliance shall only be installed or repaired by persons who can demonstrate awareness and competence in the
application of the national regulatory requirements for electrical installations and connections to the water supply and
drainage.
The electrical installation must comply with the relevant national requirements for electrical installations, building regu-
lations and any particular regulations or practices specified by the local electricity supply company.
Never use the bathtub’s fittings as carrying handles. Handle the bathtub by its edges only.
Ensure that these instructions are left with the user and are passed on to subsequent owners and users.
Basic Principles for installation
Ensure that the floor is flat and level. This will minimise adjustments needed to ensure that the product works properly.
Fill the bath with water and test thoroughly to ensure correct operation and that there are no leaks before completing the apron.
An access panel(s) shall be provided to allow access to the pipework and whirlpool components for maintenance or
repair purposes. Access panels must not be able to be opened without the aid of a tool, and shall be labelled “Caution:
Disconnect unit from power before servicing”.
An air vent of minimum dimensions 120mm x 90mm shall be provided to ensure adequate cooling of the whirlpool com-
ponents.
