INTRODUCTION
Read all of SAFETY and this section before attempting any procedure. Pay particular attention to Notices, Cautions, Warnings and Dangers.
7. Key / Light Switch
The key / light switch is on the dash panel. The switch controls the basic elec-
trical system of the vehicle and the lights.
8. Fuel Gauge with Low Oil Pressure Indicator
The fuel gauge indicates the amount of gasoline in the fuel tank. ‘F’ indicates
a full tank and ‘E’ indicates an empty fuel tank. The fuel gauge has a low oil
pressure indicator. A low engine oil pressure condition is shown with a red
indicator light.
The low oil pressure indicator light on early model vehicles is located beside
the fuel gauge on the dash, and not part of the fuel gauge.
9. 12-Volt Power Outlet
A 12-volt power outlet, with a rating of 15 amps, is found to the left of the key and light switch. The outlet supplies
continuous power for any accessories that have a 12-volt plug.
10. Direction Selector
The direction selector is on the seat panel and allows the operator to select F
(forward) or R (reverse) to control the direction of travel.
The direction selector has a reverse warning buzzer that activates when the
operator selects the R position.
11. Choke
The choke is on the seat panel below the driver seat. The choke helps start the
vehicle when the engine is cold.
Refer to the COLD-START section for operation instructions.
12. Seat
The bench seat is designed for two occupants.
13. Hip Restraints
The hip restraints help people stay in position if the
vehicle changes position suddenly.
14. Cup Holder
The vehicle has a cup holder that will accommodate
up to four beverage containers.
15. Glove Box Compartments with Optional
Doors
Glove box compartments, one on each side of the
instrument panel provide storage space for small
items. Glove boxes may be equipped with optional
doors.
16. Ash Tray (If Equipped)
The ash tray is located on the passenger side dash.
17. Load Bed
The load bed on the rear of the vehicle is for transporting cargo.
