Guarantee
Jacques Lemans watches are made using the very best materials to the highest manufacturing standards.
Prior to delivery, each watch is individually tested and undergoes a strict quality control procedure. A two
year guarantee covering all fabrication defects accompanies each watch.
If a malfunction occurs, caused by either a manufacturing defect or a faulty part, within two years of the ori-
ginal purchase, our guarantee will entitle you to either a free repair or, at the discretion of the manufacturer,
an exchange for a new watch.
The watch glass, leather watch strap and battery are not covered by the manufacturing guarantee.
Damage caused by tampering, misuse or neglect, including damage caused by vigorous impact, extreme
heat or cold, powerful magnetic fields or by exceeding normal atmospheric conditions, is not covered by
the guarantee.
The water resistance of the watch is guaranteed for a period of two years, from the date of purchase, provi-
ded the watch glass, the sealing ring, the case-back and the crown remain undamaged.
This warranty is automatically rendered null and void if the watch is repaired, serviced or tampered with by a
non authorised dealer. To locate your closest Jacques Lemans dealer please contact our service department

Lemans representative close to you, our service department will be able to help you.
Exclusion of liability for consequential damages:
Jacques Lemans or authorised dealers shall not be held liable under any circumstances for individual, con-
sequential or secondary damages of any kind, even if Jacques Lemans has been informed. This guarantee
is expressly limited to the purchase price of the watch.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

A claim can be made by following these instructions:
(1) The customer service department of Jacques Lemans must be contacted (found on the last page of
this booklet) and informed of the defect as soon as possible
(2) Please also provide the Guarantee Card, (found on the last page of this booklet), completed with your
full name and address.
(3) A proof of purchase (eg. original Invoice) must be enclosed.
Please do not send the watch without first contacting and following the instructions of a customer service
department representative of Jacques Lemans.
