Electrical wiring setup
The power supply cable must be installed near the indicat-
ed position (see technical specifications, ref.
2
), leaving it long
enough so it can be connected to the box (fastened to the
frame). The cable can follow various paths provided that there
are no loose connections; refer to the chapter on
“Electrical
safety”.
It is recommended to prepare the electrical power supply
with one single-phase line
(voltage between phase and neu-
tral: 220-240V)
.
The device can be powered with a double phase line,
provid-
ing that the voltage between phases is 220-240V
.
Electrical safety
Jacuzzi®” hydromassage products are safe appliances, manu-
factured according to
EN 60335.2.60, EN 55014-1, EN 55014-
2
. They are tested during manufacturing in order to guarantee
user safety.
Installation must be carried out by qualified and authorized
personnel, in compliance with the national provisions in force.
it is the installer’s responsibility to select the materials,
to carry out the installation correctly; and to verify the
condition of the network to which the appliance will be
connected and its capability to ensure safety.
The Jacuzzi® hydromassage tubs are Class "1" appliances and
therefore must be secured and connected in permanent fash-
ion,
without the presence of intermediate junctions
to the
electric mains and the ground system.
The building's electrical system and ground system
must be efficient and must conform to legal regula-
tions and specific national standards.
An appropriate device must be provided, which forms
part of the fixed system, and installed in compliance
with current legislation in force, with the purpose of
disconnecting the appliance from the mains.
For connection to the supply network, we advise installing an
isolating multi-pole switch, which will ensure complete discon-
nection in the instance of a category III over voltage; this device
must be connected to an area that complies with the safety reg-
ulations governing bathroom safety.
Switches and electrical devices, according to regula-
tions, must be connected to areas out of the user's
reach.
The installation of electrical devices and appliances (sock-
ets, switches, etc.) within bathrooms must comply with legal
standards and regulations in the Country where the appliance
is installed; no electrical installation is to be carried out in the
immediate area surrounding the appliance; a distance of at least
60 cm and a height of at least 225 cm must be respected.

To connect to the building's electrical system, you must use a
cable protected with a sheath with characteristics not inferior to
type

.
The appliance is equipped with a LED lighting system in com-
pliance with Standard
EN 62471.
The appliance must be powered by means of a differ-
ential switch with operating current which does not
exceed 30 mA.
Parts incorporating electrical components, except re-
mote control devices, must be located or fixed so that
they cannot fall into the tub. Live components and
equipment must be out of reach of individuals in the
tub.
If the building’s electrical system is not able to guaran-
tee a stabile power supply, it is recommended to install
a voltage stabiliser that suitably dimensioned for the
required power upstream of the equipment.
The Jacuzzi® hydromassage tubs are equipped with a
terminal, located near to the pump and identified with
the symbol , to allow for equipotential connection of
the surrounding metal masses, as required by standard
EN 60335.2.60.
ATTENTION! Before carrying out any maintenance
operation, disconnect the appliance from the power
supply line.
