NOTE:
if power is provided with a double single-phase line
(220-240 V 2+N~) or with a three-phase line with a neutral
wire (380-415 V 3+N~), before making the connection you
must remove the indicated jumpers, located near the power
supply terminal block.
X
To ensure the degree of protection against water as required
by standards, a cable clamp has been installed to make connec-
tion the electrical system easier.
X
The installer must connect the phase wire to the correct ter-
minal and the neutral wire to terminal
N
(in the order indicated).
He must also connect the earth wire to the terminal identified
by the symbol , taking care not to damage the components
inside. When installation is complete, the cable clamp and the
cover of the box must be hermetically closed.
IMPORTANT:
for Countries where 220-240V voltage is
supplied by a two-phase system (L+L), the connection
has to be made on terminals L1 and N anyway.
JACUZZI EUROPE S.p.A. denies all responsibility:
If installation is carried out by personnel unqualified and/or unau-
thorised to certify the work carried out.
If current norms and legal provisions regarding the electric systems
of buildings in the country in which installation is carried out are
not complied with.
If the instructions for installation and maintenance contained in
this manual are not followed.
If unsuitable and/or uncertified materials are used for installation.
If the spas are not installed in compliance with the above provi-
sions.
If incorrect operations are performed that reduce the level of pro-
tection of the electrical equipment against water jets, modify the
protection against electrocution due to direct or indirect contact,
or produce abnormal conditions of insulation, current leakage or
overheating.
If any components or parts of the appliance are altered in relation
to the original state when supplied, releasing the Manufacturer
from any liability.
If the appliance is repaired by unauthorised personnel or if spare
parts are used other than the original ones supplied by Jacuzzi Eu-
rope S.p.A.
Q
Limitation of electricity consumption
If there is not enough electrical energy and you decide to activate
the consumption limiter, the system software must be configured
via the control panel
(

)
:
X
Press and hold the key
“Light”
for about 12 seconds until
you see the message “
cFn
”.
X
If necessary, use the “
Up
”
and/or “
Down
”
keys to scroll
the menu until you see “
cFn
”. Press the
“Light”
key again to
confirm the option.
X
Now insert the password
123
as follows:
- use the “
Up
”
and/or “
Down
”
keys to insert the first number.
- confirm the selection by pressing the key
“Light”
.
Perform the same steps to insert the other two numbers.
X
Once you have inserted the password, the display will show
the message I1x (parameter for temperature unit of measure.
Press the
“Light”
key again to go to parameter
I2x
(where “x”
may be 1 or 0; the factory setting is 1).
NOTE:
in some models, “x” may assume values within the range of
16 to 32 (amps) and may be modified according to 2 amp intervals
therefore allowing for the control of the operating power; the fac-
tory setting is 32.
X
Use the “
Up
”
and/or “
Down
”
keys to change “x” and
then confirm your choice with the key
“Light”
: the display
will show the message
I3 0
.
X
Press the key
“Light”
again to exit the procedure and me-
morize the new values (make sure you do not modify
I3 0
).
The display will go off for a second and then it will come back on.
- If no key is pressed for 20 seconds, you will exit the procedure and
any changes made will not be saved.
NOTES
- When parameter I2 is equal to 0 (or to 16, in some models), electrical con-
sumption of the spa is limited to 16A. Under this condition you can turn
on the hydromassage pump and the blower at the same time. When you
turn on the other pump, the one in operation is shut off but the blower
stays on. If the heater is on, turning on any load (pumps and/or blower)
will disable the heater. When parameter I2 is 1 (or to 32, in some models),
maximum electrical consumption is selected. Under this condition, it is
possible to turn on both the hydromassage pumps and the blower.
- If the water is heated using an electric heater and the spa is in an
area where the temperature often drops below 0 °C, it is not advisable
to activate the consumption limiter because this limits the anti-freeze
protection (“Smart Winter”, see relative chapter).
- The setting of parameter l2 (setting which can be made at intervals
of 2) allows for optimised management of electrical consumption
Check of operation
First start-up
X
Remove the thermal cover from the spa and remove the front
and side panels, if present (
2
).
X
Check that the filtering cartridges are inside the skimmer
and that the various components are correctly installed
(see the
chapter “Maintenance of the cartridge filter”)
.
