X
Check that the drain valve on the base (and the ball valves, if
installed) are closed
(refer to the pre-installation instructions en-
closed with the product).
X
Check that all the hydromassage intakes are open.
X
Fill the spa so that the highest nozzles (back) are covered.
Filling will be performed as decided beforehand by the customer
(see pre-installation sheet, “Preparation for installation” chapter).
If you use the hose for garden work, let water run for a while be-
fore filling the MaxiJacuzzi. This will eliminate stagnant water
in the hose along with any bacteria that may cause irritations.
X
Turn on the all-pole circuit breaker(s) located on the power
supply line
(see the chapter “Electrical Connections” and safety)
.
NOTES:
- When first turned on, all of the numbers and LEDs on the control
panel will turn on. Following, the display will show the codes for the
software and firmware versions.
- In general, when the spa is filled for the first time, the water tempe-
rature is lower than the factory set value (35 °C), therefore the heating
system and the hydromassage pump will be turned on (the control
panel display will show the temperature of the water in the tub).
- If the message “
FLO
” appears on the display, the pressure switch/
flow switch of the heater may be faulty. Please see chapter “Abnor-
mal operating conditions - Alarm signals”.
X
Press the TEST button of the differential switch located
upstream from the electrical system to which the spa is con-
nected. If it does not trip, it may be faulty or it may have tripped
due to problems in the electrical system of the building.
Disconnect the spa and do not use it until you have identi-
fied and eliminated the defect.
X
Check the operation of the hydromassage pumps with the
keys
“Pump1”
and
“Pump2”
(where available)
.
X
Check that the spotlights switch on and off using the key
“Light”
.
X
Check that the blower (if included) switches on and off using
the key “
Blower
”
.
X
Check that there are no leaks from the hydraulic connections
or other problems.
X
Completely disinfect the spa by carrying out “
super-chlori-
nation
” treatment
.
Please refer to the Jacuzzi system water treatment guide
and relative catalogue for details on water quality mainte-
nance, the methods and warnings governing the use of rela-
tive chemical products.
X
After a few hours, turn off the all-pole circuit breaker(s).
X
Open the drain and completely empty the spa.
X
If included, re-install the front and side panels.
CAUTION
Do not use the spa the first time you start it as there is a
high concentration of chlorine in the water during this
phase. Immediately empty the bath.
Contact the local authorities for the standards gover-
ning the discharge of chemically treated water.
X
Close the drain valve and then fill up the spa again with
“fresh” water, following the methods indicated above.
X
Turn on the all-pole circuit breaker(s) back on and check if
the spa is operating properly.
X
Check and as necessary modify the water filtering cycles ba-
sed on how you intend to use the spa.
Control panel and functions
All spa functions are managed by the control panel on the tub, as
are the respective settings/programming.
NOTE:
when the system is powered, the panel alternates the di-
splay of the time and water temperature; if the heating system is
operating, the following symbol will also appear
.
Q
Setting the time
For correct management of water filtering and use of the energy
savings mode, the current time must be set.
X
Press the “
Clock
”
key for about 5 seconds. The current
time will be displayed, the hour digit will flash, and the respecti-
ve symbol will appear on the display.
X
Use the “
Up
”
and/or “
Down
”
keys to set the hour
(Hold
the keys down for rapid change)
.
X
Then press the “
Clock
”
key to set the minutes, which will
start flashing.
