Setting the water temperature
The water is heated by a tubular electrical heater or by a heat
exchanger. The recommended temperature is 35-36 °C.
NOTE:
The heater will be disabled if the pumps and/or blower are
turned on and the maximum permitted consumption is exceed (the
symbol
will flash on the display). In this case, if you need to heat
the water, the system will enable the heater 5 minutes after con-
sumption has decreased enough to allow it to be switched on.
Temperature unit of measure
The temperature scale is set to °C (Celsius). It can be changed to
°F (Fahrenheit) as follows:
X
Press and hold the key
“Light”
for about 12 seconds until
you see the message “
cFn
”.
X
If necessary, use the “
Up
”
and/or “
Down
”
keys to scroll
the menu until you see “
cFn
”. Press the
“Light”
key again to
confirm the option.
X
Now insert the password

keys to select the first numeral.
- confirm the selection by pressing the key
“Light”
.
Perform the same steps to insert the other two numbers.
X
Once you have inserted the password, the display will show the
message
I1x
(where “x” may be 1 or 0; the memorized value is 0)
.
X
Use the “
Up
”
and/or “
Down
”
keys to change “x” from
0
a

. Confirm the selection with the
“Light”
key. The display will show the message
I2x
.
X
Press the
“Light”
key again to go to parameter
I3 0
,
which
must never be modified
.
X
Press the
“Light”
key one more time to exit the procedure
and memorize the new values. The display will go off for a mo-
ment, and then it will come on again.
To go back to the Celsius scale (°C), return to the procedure and
set figure “x” of the parameter
I1x
to 0.
NOTE:
If no key is pressed for 20 seconds, you will exit the procedu-
re and any changes made will not be saved.
Water heating temperature (“set point”).
To check or modify the water heating temperature, do the following:
X
Press the “
Up
”
and/or “
Down
”
keys: the display will show
the currently memorized temperature
(in °C or °F as program-
med; see “Unit of measurement of the temperature”).
X
Press the “
Up
”
or “
Down
”
key again to change the displayed
value from a minimum of 15 °C to a maximum of 40 °C (59-104 °F).
X
To show the temperature of the water in the tub again, do
not touch any key for about 5 seconds.
X
As soon as the water temperature set point is reached, the
heater is shut off. It will not be turned back on until the water
temperature drops about 0.5 °C (1 °F) below the set point.
X
To ensure precise measurement of the water temperature,
the filtering pump turns on at low speed, approx. every half hour
and for 30” of filtration
(even if filtering cycles were not set)
.
NOTES
When the system is turned off, or there is a power outage, the last
set point is stored in memory.
Maintenance of minimum temperature of water in tub and
anti-freeze protection of the pipes (“Smart Winter”).
At regu-
lar intervals, the system reads the actual temperature. If it is below
the minimum admissible value (15 °C - 59 °F), the heater and the fil-
tering pump are automatically activated until the temperature rises
above that value.
“Smart Winter” lets you make use of a special probe to monitor
the temperature of the compartment under the tub, which contains
the all of the pipes of the plumbing circuit. In extreme conditions,
the system may turn on this protection (indicated on the display by
the message
ICE
)
. The pumps will be turned on according to the fol-
lowing configurations:
With limitation of electrical consumption
The blower is turned on in conjunction with one of the two hydro-
massage pumps. After one minute, the pump is turned off and the
other one is turned on, also for one minute. After that, the pumps
and blowers are turned off.
During this cycle, the heater is turned off
but it can be turned back on if necessary
.
Without limitation of electrical consumption
The operating mode remains the same, except for the heater,
which remains operative.
X
The pumps and the blower are turned on at preset intervals,
depending on the temperature:
- temperature between 12 and 15 ° C (54 - 59 °F):
every hour
- temperature between 9 and 12 ° C (48 - 54 °F):
every 30 minutes
