method described in the previous chapter on the activation of the
hydromassage pumps.
The blower can be activated either simultaneously with or
separately from the hydromassage pumps.
When the system is turned on, the blower is always off, the
same as the hydromassage pumps.
Also, when the blower is turned on, the filtering pump also
comes on if it is not already
(see the previous chapter on acti-
vation of the hydromassage pumps)
.
NOTE
:
in models equipped with a blower, you can in-
sert aroma therapy perfumed cartridges in the pipes
leading from the two blowers mounted on the spa-pak
(refer to the drawing in the chapter on installation and
plumbing connections.
When cartridges are to be replaced, this must be
done with the blowers off.
SPECIAL AUTOMATIC CYCLE
“HYDROMASSAGE AND/OR BLOWER"
It is possible to activate the hydromassage and/or blower at reg-
ular cyclical intervals, with operating and pause times that can be
modified in the system via the parameters
“P4—“
and
“P5—”
(see
information on setting general system parameters).
The desired operating and pause values (parameters P4 and
P5) must be loaded into the system using the control panel and
with the system in standby status ("start" key off). Press and hold
the
"light bulb" button (6)
for 1-2 seconds to start the pro-
cedure for setting general system parameters, scroll the various
parameters with the
“set” key (9)
and set the desired values
for P4 and P5 using the keys
(+) and (-)
.
Place the system in "active" status by press the
"start" key
(3)
(the key will light up). Check that the "hand" key is on and
then press the
"set" key (9)
. The display will show the mes-
sage
“P1.0”
(which corresponds to hydromassage pump 1).
This can be changed to
“P1.1”
with the keys
(+) and (-)
. Press
the
"set" key
again to shown in sequence the other two pa-
rameters,
“P2.0” and “BL.0”
(hydromassage pump 2 and blow-
er). These can also be changed to
“P2.1” and “BL.1”
.
The devices will automatically switch on if the status has been
changed
from 0 to 1
. They will keep running for a length of time,
in minutes, memorized in parameter P4. Then, they are shut off
for the time memorized in P5.
They then come back on for the duration P4 and so on continuously.
This special cycle may be useful to make the functions available
to the user at regular intervals without modifying the duration.
NOTES
:
- the value assigned to the parameter P5 (off interval) must be
something other than 0 in order to have cyclical operation. With
P5=0 only one cycle is performed, i.e. the devices stay on for the
time memorized in P4 and then they shut off permanently(the sta-
tus changes from 1 to 0).
- to deactivate this special cycle, turn off the system using the
"start" key or the main switch. The cycle will be interrupted even
if the pneumatic buttons are activated. The values for P4 and P5
will not be lost. Therefore, by changing the statuses of the
devices (pumps and/or blowers)
from 0 to 1
, the cycle starts in
the same mode as before.
UNDERWATER SPOTLIGHT(S)
Usually, the spotlight is also turned on and off using the pneu-
matic push button installed near the spa, but it can be activat-
ed/deactivated using the control panel of the spa-pak.
With the system in "active" status ("start" light on) and the con-
trol panel enabled ("hand" key on), press the
"light bulb" key (6)
to turn on the spotlight. Press the same key to turn it off.
If the "hand" key is off
(which signifies that the pneumatic
push buttons are active)
, you will need to press and hold it for
about three seconds in order to activate the control panel.
In models with two spotlights, the on/off command affects
both spotlights.
MANAGEMENT OF FUNCTIONS
BY COIN SLOT
It is possible to connect the system to a coin-operated timer, so
that the functions can be used by paying users.
For this special use of the system, please contact our company
or an authorized Jacuzzi service centre.
