Error Conditions/Error Messages
Your spa has a self-diagnostic control system. The system will
automatically display the following if a problem is detected.
Summer Logic
When the actual spa water temperature reaches 1°C (2°F) above
the set temperature, the spa goes into “summer logic.” The circu-
lation pump will turn off automatically, if running, to avoid add-
ing additional heat to the water, eventually creating an overheat
condition. This setting is not user-programmable.
The filter/circulation pump and CLEARRAY® will remain off until
the water temperature cools to the set temperature
(except be-
tween 8am-11am and between 8pm-11pm, when the filter/circula-
tion pump runs for it’s mandatory cycle)
. To help prevent a “Sum-
mer Logic” condition, it may be necessary to reduce filtration
cycles run times in warm weather.
Note:
Summer logic does not take effect until the spa water tem-
perature reaches 35°C (95°F). This condition is more likely in exces-
sively hot weather. Remember, the spa’s ability to cool is directly
affected by the ambient temperature. An excessively hot ambient
temperature may prevent the spa from cooling down because it’s
fully insulated construction is designed to retain heat and minimize
operating costs.
Panel Displays COOL
Cool Condition - Temperature has dropped 11°C (20°F) below the
current set temperature. The circulation pump and the heater
have been activated to bring the temperature within 8°C (15°F)
of the set temperature. No corrective action is required!
Note:
This condition is common during first time fill ups or dur-
ing refills since tap water is often very cold.
Panel Displays ICE
Freeze Protection - A potential freeze condition has been de-
tected. No action is required. Water temperature is below ~ 13°C
(55°F). Jets Pump 1, Jets Pump 2 and the circulation pump will
activate for 10 minutes, then turn off. Then the circulation pump
and the heater will activate for 10 minutes. The two cycles shall
repeat until the water temperature reaches ~ 18,5°C (65°F). See
“Winterizing”.
Panel Displays SN--1
Open sensor (heater is disabled) or shorted sensor (spa is de-
activated). The high-limit temperature sensor is not function-
ing. Contact your authorized Jacuzzi dealer or qualified service
technician. The display will alternate between
“SN--1”
, scrolling
message
“HI-LIMIT SENSOR ERROR”
and the current water tem-
perature.
Panel Displays SN--2
Open or shorted sensor (heater disabled). The temperature sen-
sor is not functioning. Contact your authorized Jacuzzi dealer or
qualified service technician. The display will alternate between
“SN--2”
and the current water temperature. The display will al-
ternate between
“SN--2”,
scrolling message
“WATER SENSOR
ERROR”
and the current water temperature.
Panel Displays Change CLEARRAY Bulb
The CLEAR
RAY
bulb timer has expired. UV bulb needs to be re-
placed. The display will alternate between the current temper-
ature reading and the scrolling message
“CHANGE CLEARRAY
BULB”
as long as the error exists. The countdown timer for the
UV bulb needs to be reset. A new UV bulb can be purchased from
a local Jacuzzi dealer.
Panel Displays Change Filter
The filter change timer has expired. The spa filters need to be
cleaned or replaced. The display will alternate between the cur-

“CHANGE
FILTER”
as long as the error exists. The countdown timer for the
Change Filter feature needs to be reset. New filters can be pur-
chased from a local Jacuzzi dealer.
Panel Displays Change Water
The water refresh timer has expired. The spa needs to be drained
and refilled. The display will alternate between the current tem-
perature reading and the scrolling message
“CHANGE WATER”
as long as the error exists. The countdown timer for the Change
Filter feature needs to be reset. New filters can be purchased
from a local Jacuzzi dealer.
Panel Displays FL--1
An
“FL--1”
display means the flow switch is malfunctioning open,
the filter cartridge is excessively dirty or an “air lock” condition
has occurred at the circulation pump intake. The spa heater will
deactivate and jets pump #1 may also deactivate. Contact your
authorized Jacuzzi dealer or qualified service technician. The
display will alternate between “FL--1,” scrolling message “FLOW
ERROR OPEN” and the current water temperature.
Panel Displays FL--2
An
“FL--2”
display means the flow switch is malfunctioning
closed. The spa heater will deactivate and jets pump #1 may also
deactivate. Contact your authorized Jacuzzi dealer or qualified
service technician. The display will alternate between
“FL--2,”
scrolling message
“FLOW ERROR CLOSED”
and the current wa-
ter temperature.
The panel displays FL--3
If
“FL--3”
is shown on the display, this means that the flow switch
is not stable. The hot tub heater and jet pump 1 are deactivated.
Contact your authorised retailer or a qualified support service
technician. The display shows
“FL--3”
, the message
“FLOW ER-
ROR TOGGLE”
(flow switch variable functioning error) and the
current water temperature alternately.
