To help prevent a “Summer Mode” condition, it may be neces-
sary to reduce the skimming/heating cycle in warm weather.
Preset skimming/heating cycles
In "Economy" mode the spa has four pre-programmed 30-
minute filtering/heating cycles, beginning at 6:00 a.m., noon,
6:00 p.m., and midnight.
You can change the start time and the duration of each cycle
based on your needs by following the instruction in the chapter
on changing the filtering/heating cycles.
N.B.:
when you select "Standard" mode and the filter-
ing/circulation pump is set to the default duration of 24 hours,
these cycles are not available. When in a Summer Logic con-
dition is active, the filter/circulation pump will turn on for all
programmed filter cycles.
Clean-up cycle
The clean-up cycle is once per day in both Standard and E-
conomy mode at 12:00 PM for two minutes. This is not user
programmable.
Pump 2 activates for one minute to circulate the water in the
pipes. After 1 minute it goes off, and pump 1 turns on and runs
for 1 minute, after which it goes off.

Adjusting time of day
The control system memorizes the time of day even in the
event of a prolonged power outage. However, it may occa-

Then, press DISPLAY again to display the minutes. Adjust
the minutes as necessary by pressing (+) or (-).
After 5 seconds, the display will return to normal.
Changing skimming/heating cycles
The control system allows you to easily adjust two separate as-
pects of each of the skimming/heatng cycle:
1) the time of day at which each cycle begins
2) the duration of each cycle.
To make adjustments, first press CYCLE to enter the program-
ming mode:
the following items iwll be dispalyed in the upper right
corner of the display:
*
: the number shown depends on which filtering cycle is pro-
grammed.
This means the system is ready to accept your changes to the
start time for skimming/heating cycle number one. Simultane-
ously, the display displays the currently programmed start time
for that cycle.
At this point, you have four options:
Press ( + ) or ( - ) to adjust the start time in increments of 30
minutes.
Press CYCLE to display and adjust each subsequent skim-
ming/heating cycle start time; with each press, the currently
programmed status will be shown in the display. To adjust any
display value, press ( + ) or ( - ).
Press SELECT to move down the menu from Start Time to Du-
ration; with each press, the currently programmed duration will
be shown in the display.
Press ( + ) or ( - ) to adjust duration in increments of 15 minutes.
Press “DISPLAY” to memorize the settings. The main display
return to showing the water temperature.
If no sensor is pressed within 30 seconds, the screen will au-
tomatically return to the normal water temperature display.
At any time, you may check the programming of any aspect
of any skimming/heating cycle by first pressing CYCLE then
moving through the menu by pressing either CYCLE or SELECT.
The programming is changed only by pressing ( + ) or ( - ) dur-
ing this process.
Programming the reminder for
filter change
Your new spa is equipped with a programmable “Change Fil-
ter” reminder that appears on the control panel display after a
specified number of days. It is designed to remind you to clean
and/or replace your filter cartridge(s) on a regular basis but
does not affect spa operation in any way.
N.B.:
this reminder must be reset at each filter cleaning interval.
This reminder must be reset at each filter cleaning interval. It
offers a selectable range from 10-120 days or it can be disabled.
We recommend an initial setting of 60 days, after which you
can easily determine whether you need to shorten or lengthen
its interval by visually inspecting your filter cartridge.
Programming instructions
Press the sensor labeled CYCLE six times: The main display
reads “FIL” indicating the “Change Filter” display program has
been accessed.
