IMPORTANT: This illustration shows the installed
position of the waste stubout when connected to
the shower drain. If the stubout is installed before
the shower unit, leave enough flex in the waste
line to allow the end of the stubout to be blocked
temporarily (see page 14) in a position flush with
the floor surface. This will allow the shower unit
to slide across the floor into position without having
to lift it.
IMPORTANT: The shower drain is designed to
connect to a 2 inch (50mm) ABS or PVC (as
approved by local codes/standards) waste
stubout.
The end of the 2 inch (50 mm) waste stubout
must be located to these dimensions within 1/4
inch (6 mm).
Stubout for steam tank drain
down line should be minimum
1/2" copper tubing. Provide 3/4"
male pipe thread fitting on end of
copper drain line.
This drain line must be provided
for the steam tank drain to site
drain as required by local
codes/standards.
