Use a vacuum or other means to keep the water from flood-
ing the system compartment.
- Replace the drain plugs.
- Loosen the hose clamp on the circulation pump intake behind the
electrical box, pull the hose off and drain it. Reinstall hose and clamp.
CLEARRAY ™
Loosen the hose clamp on the circulation pump intake behind the
control box and pull the hose off. Tip hose down and allow to drain,
then reinstall hose and clamp.
Loosen hose clamp at bottom of CLEARRAY™ system and pull
hose off of CLEARRAY fitting. Tip hose down and allow to drain.
Then reinstall hose and clamp. Remove the cover of the CLEAR-
RAY system to access the UV lamp and quartz tube. Remove and
store the UV lamp in a safe location. Remove and dry off the quartz
tube then reinstall it.
- Re-install cabinet panels and cover spa with the insulating cover.
Restarting your spa in cold weather
If you want to start up your spa after it has sat empty for a time
in freezing temperatures, check whether the water remaining in
certain sections of the piping is still frozen: this situation may
block water flow preventing the spa from operating properly and
possibly damaging the equipment.
We recommend you consult
your dealer for guidance before attempting to restart your s-
pa under these conditions.
CLEARRAY™ Water Purification System
CLEARRAY Water Purification System is exclusive technology
utilizing natural ultraviolet technology to eliminate waterborne
bacteria, viruses, and algae in portable spas. The ultraviolet light
otherwise know as UV-C or germicidal light inactivates the mi-
croorganisms disrupting the DNA so that it cannot reproduce and
is considered lifeless. CLEARRAY is plumbed in-line with your
filtration system. After the water is drawn from the pump, filter,
and heater it is then directed though the CLEARRAY system. Wa-
ter passes through an ultraviolet light energy that treats and
disinfects the water. The water is then pumped back into the s-
pa giving you crystal clear water instantly. The system has a bal-
last that is the power supply for the purification system; it has
two LED indicator lights the green indicating incoming power
flow and the red indicating the system is properly working.
CLEARRAY is standard for all models.
Note:
The CLEARRAY System only runs when the circulation
pump is running and shuts off when either jets pump is manu-
ally activated during spa use. The system will remain off for 5
minutes after both jets pumps time out or are manually turned
off, then resume operations if the circulation pump is pro-
grammed to run.
After a year the lamp bulb must be replaced. If the UV timer has
been programmed correctly a message will appear on the LED
display when the time allotted has expired. In order to clear the
“blb” message a new UV lamp bulb needs to be installed and the
timer must be reset.

Summer mode
When the actual spa water temperature reaches up to 1 °C
above the set temperature, the spa goes into
“summer mode.”
The circulation pump will turn off automatically to avoid adding
additional heat to the water, eventually creating an overheat
condition. (This setting cannot be programmed by the user).
N.B.:
The summer mode does not take effect until the spa water
temperature reaches 35 °C. This condition is more likely in ex-
cessively hot weather. Keep in mind that the spa’s ability to cool
is directly affected by the ambient temperature: an excessively
hot ambient temperature may prevent the spa from cooling down
because its fully insulated construction is designed to retain
heat and to minimize operating costs.
Overheating
Water temperature is above acceptable limits.
Do not get into the spa, the water may be too hot
.
- To correct the situation:
Remove the spa’s cover and allow your spa to cool down.
Program the filter settings for "Economy" mode. Increase the
temperature setting so as to exit "Summer Mode".
When the water temperature drops below 41°C, the spa will
resume normal operation.
If the water does not drop below 41°C, contact your author-
ized dealer.
Panel Displays BLB
UV lamp needs to be replaced. The message will flash between
“blb” and the water temperature. The countdown timer for the
UV lamp needs to be reset.
Contact an authorized Jacuzzi Service Centre.
The panel shows SN1
Open sensor (heater is deactivated) or shorted sensor (spa is de-
activated). The upper-limit temperature sensor is not functioning.
