Open Flow Switch
: (Heater is deac vated. The filter/circula on may also be deac vat-
ed). The flow switch is malfunc oning open, the circula on pump’s filter cartridge is ex-
cessively dirty or an air lock condi on has occurred at the circula on pump intake. Con-
tact your authorized dealer or service organiza on.

Closed Flow Switch
: (Heater is deac vated. The filter/circula on may also be deac vat-
ed). The flow switch is malfunc oning closed. Contact your authorized dealer or service
organiza on.
3.
Toggling Flow Switch
: (Heater is deac vated). The flow switch is behaving erra cally.
Heater is disabled, check for dirty filter. Make sure to clean the filter(s) and correct prop-
er water level before contac ng your dealer or service organiza on.
4.
Shorted Hi-limit Temp Sensor: The hi-
limit temperature sensor is not func onal. Heater
is disabled. This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized service organiza on or
service technician.
5.
Open Hi-limit Temp Sensor: The hi-
limit temperature sensor is not func onal. Heater is
disabled. This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized service organiza on or ser-
vice technician.
6.
Shorted Water Temp Sensor
: The temperature sensor is not func onal. Heater is disa-
bled. This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized service organiza on or service
technician.
7.
Open Water Temp Sensor
: The temperature sensor is not func onal. Heater is disabled.
This must be repaired only by a qualified authorized service organiza on or service tech-
nician.
8.
Closed Flow Switch on Start-up: Flow switch is non-
func onal. Closed or shorted flow
switch on system start-up (system disabled). Contact your authorized dealer or service
organiza on.
9.
Frozen on Start-up: Flow switch is non-
func onal. Shorted flow switch on system start
-
up (system disabled) and freeze condi on detected. Contact your authorized dealer or
service organiza on.
