Meaning

Temperature Set Back:  If the spa water is
more than 20

°

F cooler than the temperature

set point, the filter pump and heater will
automatically activate.  This is a normal spa
function;  no corrective action is necessary.

Freeze Protection:  If a freeze condition is
detected, the pumps are automatically acti-
vated.  This is also a normal spa function;  no
corrective action is necessary.

Open Sensor:  Spa is deactivated.  The high
limit temperature sensor is nonfunctional.
This must be repaired by a dealer or service
organization.

Open Sensor:  Spa is deactivated.  The
water sensor is nonfunctional.  This also
must be repaired by a dealer or service
organization.

Temperature Lock

The temperature lock is provided to prevent unautho-
rized temperature adjustment of your spa.  While setting
your spa water temperature, and after you have pressed

  or  

, follow the instructions below to

lock the set temperature.  When the temperature lock is
engaged, all automatic spa functions will operate nor-
mally.

These buttons must be pressed within 3 seconds to
activate the lock.  When locked, the display will show the
spa temperature, the lock symbol, and the words SET
HEAT.  When the spa is in the temperature locked mode,
the temperature buttons are deactivated.  When pressed,
the set temperature will appear with a double arrow next
to it.

Display Messages

These are some of the messages you will see on the
center display.

Message

Meaning

Battery Backup:  Power has been cut OFF to
the spa.  It is using its 15 minute recharge-
able battery backup to preserve its settings.
The control panel will be disabled until power
returns to the unit.

Overheat Protection:  Spa is deactivated.  If
a malfunction occurs and the spa water
reaches 112

°

F, the system will completely

shut down.

DANGER:  DO NOT ENTER THE WATER.
Turn off all power to the spa and contact
your dealer or service organization.  Press
any panel button to reset.

Flow Switch (Constantly displayed):  A flow
switch has malfunctioned.  Contact your
dealer or service organization.

Flow Switch (Flashing):  1)  The filter may be
plugged. Remove the filter and clean.  2)
The amount of water may be inadequate.  Be
sure the spa is properly filled.  3)  A flow
switch has malfunctioned.  The spa will
operate, but the heater will not activate.
Contact your dealer or service organization.

Unlocking the Panel

To unlock the panel, these buttons must be pressed in
the correct sequence and within 2 seconds. When the
last button is touched, the lock symbol will disappear.  All
buttons are now active.
