Any damage arising by not following these warnings are
not covered by the guarantee.
PREPARING FOR USE
CAUTION
The preliminary checks and any system adjust-
ments must be performed by qualified autho-
rised personnel, under their own responsibility.
Instructions are provided in the second part of
this manual.
The user must appoint a qualified person able to manage and
run the system, in particular as regards the following operations:
Filling the MaxiJacuzzi
®
with water.
The optimum level is obtained when the water reaches the
level mark on the skimmer (
2, part B
).
Verification of water quality, chemical control of pH
and water sanitation.
These checks must be performed frequently to guarantee long-
term water quality, especially if the MaxiJacuzzi
®
is used by sev-
eral persons.
Make sure that ALL the operations described in the
section
“Operating instructions for the system user General
Warnings Initial Start- up” have been carried out.
Turn on
the
system's main switch.
WARNING
Do not power the system if the MaxiJacuzzi
®
is
not filled with water up to the normal filling lev-
el, as this may damage the pumps. Failure to ob-
serve this warning will immediately invalidate
the warranty.
LIMITATION OF ELECTRICAL CONSUMPTION
If there is not enough electrical energy and you decide to ac-
tivate the consumption limiter, the system software must be
configured for proper operation of the spa:
Press and hold the
“Light”
key for about 12 seconds, un-
til the message
“cFn”
appears.
If necessary, use the
“Up”
and/or
“Down”
keys to
scroll the menu until you see “
cFn
”. Press the
“Light”
key a-
gain to confirm the option.
Now insert the password
123
as follows:
- use the
“Up”
and/or
“Down”
keys to insert the first number.
- confirm the selection by pressing the
“Light”
key.
Perform the same steps to insert the other two numbers.
Once you have inserted the password, the display will show
the message I1x (parameter for temperature unit of measure.
Press the
“Light”
key again to go to parameter
I2x
(where
“x” may be 1 or 0; the default is 1).
Use the
“Up”
and/or
“Down”
keys to change "x"
from
1
to
0
and then confirm the selection with the “Light” * key.
The display will show the message
I3 0
. Press the
“Light”
key again to exit the procedure and memorize the new values.
Make sure you do not modify parameter
I3 0
. The display will
go off for a moment, and then it will come on again.
-
If no key is pressed for 20 seconds, you will exit the proce-
dure and any changes made will not be saved.
NOTES
- When I2 is 0, electrical consumption of the spa is limited to
16A. Under this condition you can simultaneously turn on a
hydromassage pump and the blower. When you turn on the
other pump, the one in operation is shut off but the blower s-
tays on.
If the heater is on, turning on any load (pumps and/or
blower) will disable the heater.
- When parameter I2 is 1, maximum electrical consumption is
selected. Under this condition, it is possible to turn on both
the hydromassage pumps and the blower.
If the heater is turned on, turning on the two hydromassage
pumps (when available) and the blower may cause the heater to
be disabled. In any case, it is enabled 5 minutes after power con-
sumption has reduced sufficiently to permit its use.
- It is not advisable to activate the consumption limiter if the s-
pa is installed where temperatures often drop below 0 °C because
this limits the anti-freeze protection (see related chapter).
CONTROL PANEL AND FUNCTIONS
Follow the instructions provided below to get familiar with us-
ing the control panels. These include the main one (
6
) located
near the skimmer, and the secondary one (
7
), on the oppo-
site side. The secondary one only lets you start the pumps for
the hydromassage, activate the air jets (blowers) and/or turn on
the spotlight.
Note: some models do not have the secondary com-
mand/control panel, only the main one.
When the system is powered on, the display shows the time
alternating with the temperature in the tub.
If the electric heater is operating, the corresponding symbol al-
so appears:
