Electrical safety
Jacuzzi® mirrors are safe items, manufactured according to stan-
dards
EN 60598-1, EN 62471, EN 55015, EN 61547
.
They can be directly fixed to usually inflammable surfaces, (e.g.
wood).
They are only designed for indoor use and they are to be instal-
led so that they are out of reach.
Jacuzzi® mirrors are manufactured according to European
Union standard IEC529 and can be positioned within zone
3
of
the bath area.
Jacuzzi® mirrors are category II items which are not supplied
with a connection plug and therefore they must be secured and
connected in permanent fashion, without the presence of inter-
mediate junctions to the electric mains.

The building's electrical system and ground system
must be efficient and must conform to legal regula-
tions and specific national standards.

An appropriate device must be provided, which forms
part of the fixed system, and installed in compliance
with current legislation in force, with the purpose of dis-
connecting the appliance from the mains.

The building's electrical system must be equipped
with a 30 A differential switch.
ATTENTION! Before carrying out any maintenance
operation, disconnect the appliance from the power
supply line.
For connection to the electric mains, we advise installing an iso-
lating multi-pole switch, which will ensure complete discon-
nection in the instance of a category III over voltage; these devices
must be connected to an area that complies with the safety re-
gulations governing bathroom safety.

Appliances with "Y” type coupler.
In the instance where the external pipe is damaged, it must be re-
placed solely with a pipe supplied from the manufacturer and the
replacement operation must be carried out by the Support ser-
vice or equally, qualified personnel in order to avoid any dan-
gerous situations.
Connect the "phase" conductor to the
L
-shaped terminal and
the "neutral" conductor to the specific
N
-shaped terminal.
Upon installation termination, close the box cover so that it is
firmly sealed.
To connect to the building's electrical system, you must use a
cable protected with a sheath with characteristics not inferior
to type
H 03 VV-H2 F, H 03 VVF 0,75 mm

The appliance is equipped with a LED lighting system in com-
pliance with Norm
EN 62471:2009.
JACUZZI EUROPE S.p.A. denies all responsibility:
- If the instructions for installation and maintenance contained in
this manual are not followed.
- If current norms and legal provisions regarding the electric systems
of buildings in the country in which installation is carried out are not
complied with.
- If unsuitable and/or uncertified materials are used for installation.
- If incorrect operations are performed that reduce the level of pro-
tection of the electrical equipment against water jets, modify the pro-
tection against electrocution due to direct or indirect contact, or pro-
duce abnormal conditions of insulation, current leakage or over-
heating.
If any components or parts of the appliance are altered in relation
to the original state when supplied, releasing the Manufacturer
from any liability.
- If the appliance is repaired by unauthorised personnel or if spare
parts are used other than the original ones supplied by Jacuzzi Eu-
rope S.p.A.
