The “OMEGA” shower enclosure is not a toy: never leave
children unattended inside the shower enclosure, espe-
cially when the steam bath function is in operation.
•
Omega shower enclosures are suitable for domestic or similar
use,
and must not be installed outdoors. Ensure that in-
stallation has been carried out by qualified personnel, in
full compliance with laws and current national regulations.
•
It is dangerous to use or access to appliances powered
by the electrical system of the building when inside the
shower enclosure.
ATTENTION! Steam comes out at temperatures of
about 100°C. Keep legs away from the steam outlet
during the steam bath, or at least 40 cm away from the
nozzles.
•
The peak temperature in the steam bath, at the height of
the users chest, is approximately 45°C, starting from an
initial room temperature and in the box of 20°C.
•
When room temperature is high, or if consecutive Turk-
ish bath cycles are run (e.g. in fitness centres, gyms, etc.),
the temperature in the shower box may exceed 50°C. The
adjacent panels and the seat, due to the special fea-
tures of the materials they are made of, over time tend
to reach the same temperatures, which some may find ex-
cessive to the touch. Therefore, use care not to lean a-
gainst the panels.
•
Do not use water at temperatures over 60°C: the water
circuit might be damaged and there is a higher probabil-
ity that lime scale deposits will form.
•
After using any “water jet” function, turn off the stop tap. It is
advisable to turn the diverter to the “showerhead” position.
•
After using the electronic functions, turn off the main switch. See
the chapter on electrical safety in the installation manual.
•
If the electric current is cut off during the steam bath, the steam
bath is interrupted and the boiler will not be washed. When the
electric current is restored, it is, therefore, advisable to re-start
the steam bath for about 3 minutes and then switch it off.
•
If OMEGA shower enclosures are supplied with hot water from
an economic-type gas boiler with mechanical flame adjustment,
the boiler may not be able to provide a continuous water sup-
ply at the required temperature. In this case, if it is not possi-
ble to replace the boiler with an electronic-modulation one, it
is advisable to get a qualified technician to lock the flame mod-
ulation of the boiler and only use the shower enclosure mixer
tap to regulate water temperature.
•
The water supply (hot/cold water) must ensure well-balanced
pressures. A considerable difference in pressure may prevent cor-
rect and speedy adjustment of the water temperature.
For all maintenance and/or repair operations that require
the replacement of components, original Jacuzzi
®
spare parts
must be used, since failure to comply with this regulation
will relieve the manufacturer of any liability for damage.
