PROBLEM
/
solution
WATER IS NOT SUPPLIED FROM VARIOUS FUNCTIONS (SHOW-
ERHEAD, VERTICAL HYDROMASSAGE, ETC.).
•
Turn on the mixer tap.
THE DISPLAY IS OFF.
•
Turn on the master switch (See installation manual).
THE SHOWERHEAD PROVIDES INADEQUATE PRESSURE.
•
Clean the filter situated between the flexible hose and the riser rail.
INSUFFICIENT WATER IS SUPPLIED FOR ALL FUNCTIONS.
•
Check that the installer has complied with the pressure/capacity
specifications on the technical pre-installation data sheet.
•
Check that the thermostatic valve filter is not blocked with dirt and/or
lime scale.
THE HYDROMASSAGE FUNCTION HAS INADEQUATE PRESSURE.
•
Clean the nozzles. If this does not work, contact the Jacuzzi
®
Service Cen-
tre to check the pressure and the water system capacity).
DIFFICULT TO ADJUST THE WATER TEMPERATURE (MIXING).
•
Check that the pressure values of the system (operating) for hot and
cold water are well-balanced. If the values are different, it is advis-
able to contact your entrusted plumber.
ONCE THE STEAM BATH FUNCTION HAS BEEN SET, ITS LED CON-
TINUES TO FLASH AND THE FUNCTION DOES NOT WORK.
•
Check that the water supply has not been interrupted to the domes-
tic system; if the problem persists, switch off the system and contact
the Jacuzzi
®
Service Centre.
THE DISPLAY IS ON BUT IT DOES NOT RECEIVE THE PRO-
GRAMMES.
•
Switch off the system and contact the Jacuzzi
®
Service Centre.
THE STEAM BATH IS INTERRUPTED OR DOES NOT START.
•
Electric current absent.
•
No water in the boiler.
If there is no water during the steam bath, or if the water goes below the
safety level, the function is interrupted and the LED on the display be-
gins to flash quickly, indicating the alarm condition. If the safety level is
not restored after about 2 minutes, the function is switched off and
the emptying and washing of the boiler starts.
To use the steam bath again, see the related chapter.
•
During the period preceding the boiler filling, it may happen that
the water does not reach the operating level. In this case, the func-
tion waits for about 3 minutes, and then, if the water level is still in-
sufficient, the function is interrupted and the emptying and wash-
ing of the boiler starts. To use the steam bath again, see the related
chapter.
•
Safety thermostat in operation An excess of scale deposits, or a block-
age in the steam outlet pipe, can trigger the safety thermostat into
operation. In this case, the steam bath cycle continues until the end
of the 40 minutes, but steam will not come out of the nozzle.

THE SCALE-REMOVAL CYCLE IS INTERRUPTED, OR WILL NOT
START
•
No electric current. If this is absent during operation, the “memory”
of the time passed is lost. When the electric current is restored, the
scale-removal liquid that has entered the boiler automatically drains
out (guaranteeing hygiene), but it will be necessary to repeat the cy-
cle if at least 8 hours have not passed since the start of the same cy-
cle.
Maintenance
TAPS, ALUMINIUM PARTS.
Dry the various components after use. If you need to clean them,
simply remove any impurities with a soapy wet cloth or neutral
detergent, rinse with clean water and dry.
Do not use abrasive cloths, powder detergents, acetone or
other solvents.
NOZZLES
(vertical hydromassage)
If lime scale builds up on the nozzles, thus altering the form of the
hydromassage jet, remove and clean the external ring nut as follows:
•
turn the ring nut as far as it will go counter-clockwise.
•
extract the hub in the centre of the nozzle and clean the centre hole.
•
do not use metal tools (scissors, screwdrivers, etc.). Soak the hub in a
moderately acetic solution (anti-lime liquid).
•
put the hub back in place and reinstall the ring nut.
LARGE SHOWER HEAD AND SHOWER HEAD
These components are equipped with a scale-removal filter, which
can be cleaned with a sponge. For normal cleaning operations, see
instructions for taps.
The flexible showerhead is provided with a filter that could beco-
me clogged due to impurities and/or lime scale; this filter can be
cleaned by unscrewing the showerhead from its flexible hose.
TRAY AND TOP
Maintenance of the methacrylate parts (including the top) is quick
and easy. You can use any non-abrasive neutral liquid detergent.
Do not use abrasive cloths, powder detergents, acetone or
other solvents.
To clean the steam nozzle (in which essential oils may be placed),
extract it by pushing the tabs in and pulling. Detach the tab in the
lower part of the container and then wash the nozzle with non-
abrasive neutral detergent.
