Warnings and notes
•
The “PLAY” shower enclosure is not a toy: never leave children
unattended inside the shower enclosure, especially when
the steam bath function is in operation.
•
Material shower enclosures are suitable for domestic or similar use,
and
must not be installed outdoors. Ensure that installation has
been carried out by qualified personnel, in full compliance with
legal and current national regulations.
•
It is dangerous to use or gain access to appliances powered by
the electrical system of the building when inside the shower
enclosure.
WARNING!
Steam comes out at temperatures of about
100°C. Keep legs away from the steam outlet during the
steam bath, or at least 40 cm away from the nozzles.
•
In the Turkish bath, the temperature reached at full operating
power, inside the various model and at chest level of the per-
son using the function, is about 45°C, starting from an initial
temperature in the shower enclosure (or in the room) of
about 20 °C.
•
When there is a high ambient temperature, or if consecutive
Turkish bath cycles are run (e.g. fitness centres, gymnasi-
ums, etc.), the temperature in the shower enclosure may ex-
ceed 50°C. The shower column, because of the specific char-
acteristics of the material it is made of, tends to reach the same
temperature, which some may find too hot to the touch. In
these cases it is not advisable to rest the back against the
shower column.
•
Do not use water at temperatures over 60°C: the water circuit
might get damaged and there is a higher probability that
lime scale deposits will form.
•
After using any “water jet” function, turn off the stop tap. It is advis-
able to turn the diverter to the “showerhead” position.
•
After using the electronic functions, turn off the master switch (see
Electrical safety chapter).
•
If the electric current is cut off during the steam bath, the steam bath is
interrupted and the boiler will not be emptied. When the electric current
is restored, it is, therefore, advisable to re-start the steam bath for
about 3 minutes and then switch it off.
•
If PLAY shower enclosures are supplied with hot water from an eco-
nomic-type gas boiler with mechanical flame adjustment, the boil-
er may not be able to provide a continuous water supply at the re-
quired temperature. In this case, if it is not possible to replace the boil-
er with an electronic-modulation one, it is advisable to get a quali-
fied technician to lock the flame modulation of the boiler and only
use the shower enclosure mixer tap to regulate water temperature.
•
The water supply (hot/cold water) must ensure well-balanced pres-
sures. A considerable difference in pressure may prevent correct and
speedy adjustment of the water temperature.
For all maintenance and/or repair operations that require the re-
placement of components, original Jacuzzi
®
spare parts must be
used, since failure to comply with this regulation will mean
that the Manufacturer is not liable for any damage.
