INSTALLATION
The operations described in this manual must
only be performed by qualified specialist per-
sonnel.
ARRANGEMENT
FOR INSTALLATION
Refer to the pre-installation sheet provided with the product for
the arrangement of the plumbing and electrical connections
and/or to check their execution.
Check that the following connections are provided:
- connection to the plumbing network and to the ground drainage
points
- installation of a water softener (upstream from the spa) if the
water is very hard.
- connection of the electrical box installed on the spa-pak with the
electrical system of the building. The main disconnecting switch is
to be placed in a safe location that is accessible to users
(also re-
fer to the chapter on connections and electrical safety)
For outdoor installations, it is advisable to drain the ducts of
the electrical cables, to prevent possible water accumulation.
If the spa is
installed indoors,
remember that water evap-
oration from the spa can cause very high levels of humidity, es-
pecially if temperatures are very high, even if the thermal cover
is used. Natural or forced ventilation helps to maintain person-
al comfort and reduce damage to the building.
Jacuzzi Europe shall not be held liable for any damage caused
by excessive humidity.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION
PLEAS E CAR E FU LLY R EAD ALL TH E I N-
STRUCTIONS BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH IN-
STALLATION.
GENERAL NOTICES
The spas are carefully packed in wood crates that
ensure protection during transport. Jacuzzi Europe shall
not be held liable for damage incurred during trans-
port or intermediate storage. As soon as you receive the
spa, it is therefore important to check that the pack-
aging is in perfect condition and if not, immediately no-
tify the forwarding agent.
Remove the spa from the packaging
and remove the front
panels(
1
). Do not remove the corner panels.
Carefully inspect the spa before proceeding with installation,
checking the correct position of the couplings, pipes and clamps
(check that they are not loose).
When choosing the installation site, any obstacles to move-
ment (corridors, doors, stairs, etc.) should therefore be taken
into account; outdoor and ground floor installation sites are ob-
viously preferable.
(
1
) For all transport operations use only the pallet on which
the spa can be placed, while during installation support it by us-
ing only straps of adequate capacity, that can be inserted into
the runners and brackets at the bottom of the spa; after final in-
stallation, these brackets can be removed and kept for any fu-
ture handling.
If it is impossible to use transport belts, the methacrylate pan-
els screw-fitted at the four corners can be removed so that the
corner props can be used as supports for moving the spa.
N.B.: this type of movement must be performed with ex-
treme care and the customer or its representative must
assume full responsibility for it.
Jacuzzi Europe accepts no liability for damages caused
by said operation or any other inappropriate handling
procedures.
In any case, for all transport and handling, support the spa on-
ly with the belts or by the edge and
NEVER
by the plumbing
pipes. Always wear
protective gloves
.
POSITIONING THE SPA
Set the spa on a base that can sustain the load (
refer to the
pre-installation instructions).
ATTENTION: the support base must be as level
as possible to keep from compromising the ca-
pacity of the tanks.
HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS
Refer to the pre-installation card for the following connections:
- spa drain
- compensation tanks drainage
- overflow of compensation tanks
Connect to the water mains to fill the spa
(as per standard
EN 1717).
Connect the solenoid for filling/topping off the compensa-
tion tanks (3/4” connections) to the water mains.
