(

) Place the o-rings on the threaded fittings
(ø 50 mm
internal - ø 63 mm external)
and screw them onto the selector
valve and onto the pump, respectively, as indicated.
Electrical connections
For the type of cables and information on electrical safe-
ty, refer to the pre-installation card and the installation
manual of the MaxiJacuzzi
®
where the filtering group is
to be connected.
(
16, 17
) If you have not already done so, provide a power
cable for the pump of a suitable length.
Unscrew the cable clamp from the terminal block of the pump and
run the power cable through it. Make the necessary connections,
respecting polarity: phase (L), neutral (N) and earth (
). Screw the
cable clamp back down and put the cover back on the terminal block.
Tighten firmly so as to protect against splashes of water.
This cable must be approved (double insulation, type
H 05 VV-F, or greater) with a cross section of 3 x 1,5
mm
2
(to ensure the watertight seal of the cable).
(
18 - 18a
) Remove the panels from the MaxiJacuzzi
®
at the
skimmer “C” and at the electronic box “B”.
(
19
) Connect the terminal block of the pump (M) and the
electronic box of the MaxiJacuzzi
®
(B) or (B1). For this purpose, we
have provided a shunt box (E) where you will need to connect the
cable from the pump (
20
).
NOTE:
based on the junction box provided (B or B1) please
refer to the respective instructions provided below.
Junction Box “B”
(
21
) Remove the cover from the electronic control box of the
spa and the fastening block indicated. Then, remove cable “P1”
from the pump, from the position indicated (J23). Remove it with its
connector.
(
22
) Then connect cable “P1” to the junction box as shown
in the wiring diagram.
NOTE:
The black wire (high speed windings of the pump) must
be connected to terminal L1. The brown wire (low speed wind-
ings of the pump) must be connected to terminal L2.
(
23
) Run the cable with the connector “P2” (coming from the
junction box) into the electronic control box through the groove that
has been freed up and connect it to the indicated terminal.
Put the fastening block back in place and tighten down the cable.
Then put the cover back on the electrical control box.
Junction Box “B1”
(
24
) Remove the cover of the spa's electronic control box.
Remove cable “P1” (from the pump), pressing down on the clamps
and sliding out the wires.
(
22
) Then connect cable “P1” to the junction box as shown
in the wiring diagram.
NOTE:
The black wire (high speed windings of the pump) must
be connected to terminal L1. The brown wire (low speed wind-
ings of the pump) must be connected to terminal L2.
(
25
) Remove the connector from cable “P2” (from the junc-
tion box), run it into the electrical control box through the freed
cable gland, and connect it to the indicated terminals.
NOTE:
The black wire (high speed windings of the pump) must
be connected to terminal L/HI. The brown wire (low speed wind-
ings of the pump) must be connected to terminal L/LO.
(
26 - 27
) Place the shunt box inside the MaxiJacuzzi
®
, on its
base.
The position depends on the selected type of installation and
in any case in consideration of the length of the pre-installed
cable which must reach inside the electronic box of the
MaxiJacuzzi
®
.
Mark the position of the fastening holes, as indicated. Drill holes
in the base of the MaxiJacuzzi
®
and attach the shunt box, first
installing the anti-vibration rubbers in the holes, followed by the
washers and the screws.
Connect, if not already completed, the electric mains of the build-
ing to the corresponding terminals in the electrical control box.
NOTE:
using this type of connection, the spa-pak pump will oper-
ate at the same time as the spa pump when it is running at low
speed. When the spa pump is run at high-speed (hydromas-
sage), the spa-pak pump will remain off, with a significant reduc-
tion in the flow rate of water to the sand filter.
(
28
) If intensive use of the spa is expected, it is suitable to
provide separate electric power to the spa-pak so that external fil-
tering can be performed even when the hydromassage is turned
on. In this case, the wire sections must take account the pump
absorption but also the cable path and the distances, the chosen
protection systems and the specific regulations for fixed electri-
cal systems.
Water connections
(
29
) Connect the selector valve (WASTE position) to the
drain, using the 1-1/2” G fitting
(provided)
and a tube, internal
ø
32 mm
(not included)
.
NOTE:
it is advisable for the ground drainage point to be placed
near the spa-pak, to make periodic emptying of the filter easier
(for winter shutdown, or to change the sand).
(
30
)
Drill a hole in the support base so as to run the
pipes through (internal
ø 50 mm
) which will be connected to
the lines of the skimmer and to the spa-pak
(
31
)
.
NOTE:
it is advisable to provide gate valves
(v)
, so that any work
required on the filtering group can be done more easily.
NOTE:
the entry point of the pipes shown in the figure is only a
suggestion. It can be made wherever it is most convenient, based
on the position of the skimmer, the type of installation and the
plumbing and electrical connections required for the
MaxiJacuzzi
®
.
