Introduction
We would like to congratulate you on the purchase of your
Jaeger-LeCoultre watch, and thank you for your trust.
The completely innovatively designed Master Compressor
Diving Pro Geographic watch is equipped with a mechanical
depth gauge on the outer flank of the case, with a clear
hand display on the dial. In addition to depth measurement,
it has a multiple time zone display. You need only position a
representative city in the window at 6 o’clock for its time to
be immediately displayed on a dial at 9 o’clock. The depth
gauge, time and operating indicators are luminescent for ease
of readability.
Please check out the operating instructions for your Jaeger-
LeCoultre timekeeper: we hope that you will be very happy
with it.
Accuracy
Mechanical models with manual or automatic
winding
The accuracy of the mechanical movement models is
determined by the balance. This makes 21,600 or 28,800
vibrations per hour, depending on the model (see technical
specifications).
Despite all the care with which the Jaeger-LeCoultre master-
watchmakers have made and assembled your watch, its
accuracy is subject to the influence of gravity, magnetic fields,
impacts and ageing of the oils. The accuracy is measured by its
rate regularity in various positions.
The nature of your constitution or lifestyle may lead to slight
irregularities. If you observe slow or fast running of your
watch, you are advised to take it to an approved Jaeger-
LeCoultre retailer, who will make any necessary adjustments.
Quartz models
Jaeger-LeCoultre quartz watches contain a battery
and electronic components. In service operations,
your official Jaeger-LeCoultre Service Centre
or authorised Jaeger-LeCoultre retailer will be
responsible for recovering them and disposing of them in
accordance with current standards.
The quartz models are accurate to within 2 to 3 minutes
per year.
Water resistance
Jaeger-LeCoultre watches are water resistant to 3, 5,
10, 20, 30 or 100 atm, depending on the model (see
technical specifications). This property can be identified
by the
symbol engraved on the case-back.
This means that your timekeeper has been tested
to an immersion pressure equivalent to 30, 50, 100,
200, 300 or 1000 metres, according to the number of
atmospheres shown beside the aforementioned symbol
(1 atm = 10 metres).
Please note that leather straps are not suitable for aquatic
activities.
It is essential to have the water resistance of your watch
regularly checked by a Jaeger-LeCoultre authorised retailer,
and definitely before a period of intensive use.
