Backup and Reset

To Restore the XT1:
1.
Connect the XT1 to an AC power source and confirm that the
XT1 battery is charged to
at least
60%.
2.
From the
Home
screen, touch the
Settings
(icon)
(Figure 6).
3.
Touch
Settings
screen to scroll down until
Backup & reset
is
in view (Figure 7).
4.
Touch
Restore system
(Figure 9).
5.
Agree
to begin (or cancel) the Restore procedure.
⎯
Restoration will begin and the device will be restarted,
during which time, the backup process will be
confirmed visually.
To Clone the XT1:
1.
Configure the
master
XT1 mini-tablet as preferred. It is this
master
XT1 whose settings,
preferences and data will be replicated onto one or more target (cloned) XT1(s).
2.
Confirm that the
master
XT1 mini-tablet has a microSD card installed.
3.
Backup the
master
XT1.
4.
Remove the microSD card from the
master
XT1.
5.
Install the microSD card removed from the
master
XT1 into the
target
XT1, i.e. the XT1
to be cloned.
6.
With the microSD card from the
master
installed in the target (clone) XT1,
Restore
the
target XT1.

When the Restore procedure and accompanying restart are complete, the
target
XT1 will
be a replication of the
master
. This process can be repeated as many times as necessary
to deploy duplicate XT1 configurations.
