To install user applications from other sources
⎯
Downloaded directly to the XT1
:
1.
Download the application to the XT1 from a reliable source.
2.
Move
or
Copy
the trusted application to the XT1’s
Internal storage
memory.
3.
From the XT1
Home
screen, touch
Applications
.
4.
Touch the
File Manager
icon (Figure 5).
5.
From the
File Manager
screen, touch
Internal storage
(Figure 6).
6.
Touch the
application
to be installed (Figure 6).

, the application file name is:
Speedtest_org.zwanoo.android.speedtest_3.2.6_2180
7.
Review the resulting
Installation Approval
screen (Figure 7).
If you agree with the proposed actions and device access
requirements, touch
Install
. Otherwise, touch
Cancel
.

An intermediate screen will display and verify
installation progress, followed by the
App installed
confirmation (Figure 8).
8.
Touch
Done
to return to
File Manager
or
Open
to launch
the application.
Tip:
It is recommended that the newly installed
application be launched to verify that the
new app and the XT1 are functioning
properly after the installation.
