CAUTION
Activating the spa during freezing conditions will override freeze protection.
This means that if you are using your spa when freezing conditions exist,
freeze protection will
not
circulate water to non-spa related equipment that
you may have freeze protected (e.g. pool cleaner, booster pump.) Under
these circumstances, the potential for equipment damage may exist.
3.6 SECURITY
The following functions provide
controls for the setup and operation
of secured equipment. This includes
setting up manual lockouts, system
and device passwords and resetting
the system memory.
3.6.1 LOCKOUTS
MENU/HELP
Select to manually lock or unlock
system devices. Locked items help
to prevent unintentional changes to
specific AquaLink RS operations.
• When LOCK is displayed any
changes to programs or system
setup features are prevented.
• When SpaLink and Spa Switch
display LOCK, all controls for
both systems are deactivated.
• Devices displaying LOCK will
still function normally under
any programs for which they are
assigned.
3.6.2 PASSWORD PROTECTION
MENU/HELP
Passwords can be set for system
programs and devices. Users are
able to set passwords to restrict
access to controls for those
functions.

• The password must be 4 numbers
and the same password is used
for SYSTEM, PROGRAMS,
SPA SWITCH, SPALINK
®
, and
DEVICES.
• The system will accept a default
password of “1234”, until a new
password is established using the
CHANGE PASSWORD menu
option.
