GAS PRESSURE TEST
• Check the gas supply pressure while
the heater is operating.
• Any adjustments or readings made
while the heater is off will result in poor
performance and other problems.
• Connect a differential manometer
to the supply pressure port on the
gas valve.
• If the gas supply pressure does
not meet requirements (see table,
right), check for a restrictive fitting,
undersized gas meter, or undersized
pipe between the meter and the heater.
• Minimum inlet supply pressure must
be maintained during heater operation
while there is a full demand on the gas
delivery system.
