10.4 Performance characteristics
For the performance characteristics of the BD2
busbar system, your busbar tap-off unit and the
components installed in it, please refer to the
respective usage information.
Included in the scope of delivery for each tap-off
unit is a supplementary user manual for mounting
the device and for plugging it onto the busbar
system.
Features of the BD2 busbar tap-off unit:
·Sheet steel housing, hot-dip galvanized and pow-
der-coated, color light gray, RAL 7035 (special
colors on request).
·Assembly and disassembly of the tap-off units is
only possible with the cover open.
·An anti-twist feature prevents incorrect place-
ment.
·The insertion of power cables is possible from
two directions. (Use cable fittings with strain
relief. Cable fittings not included in the scope of
delivery.)
·Energy tapping via silver-plated contacts.

10.5 EU conformity declaration

the devices. The CE conformity marking require-
ments for the device arise from the EU conformity
declaration and the laws, standards and directives
mentioned therein.
10.6 Norms and standards
The busbar tap-off unit was designed and man-
ufactured according to the following norms and
standards:
·CE conformity according to 2014/30/EU (Electro-
magnetic Compatibility Directive) and 2014/35/
EU (Low Voltage Directive).
·DIN EN 61439 (standard for low-voltage switch-
gear and controlgear assemblies).
·Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH Regula-
tion).
·EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS Directive).
