Example: To change the preset value of the stitch
length
Select the stitch pattern you wish to change the preset
value.
The indication of stitch width and length are surrounded
with a frame and will work as a custom setting key when
the favorite stitch adjustment option is turned on.
1 Custom setting key
Adjust the stitch length as you prefer..
Press the custom setting key. The LCD screen will display
the custom setting window.
Press the memory key or its icon on the LCD
screen to save the custom settings.
Press the clear key or its icon on the LCD
screen to restore the default settings.
The LCD screen will return to the previous window and
the symbol “C” will appear on the screen to indicate that
the preset values have been changed.

Customizing the preset values of the stitch length and
width
The preset values of the stitch length and width are
optimized for each pattern.
However, you can change the preset values to suit your
sewing preferences, if the favorite stitch adjustment option
is turned on (refer to page 26).
Restoring the default settings
Select a pattern for which you have changed the preset
settings.
Press the custom setting key. The LCD screen will show
the custom setting window with the customized settings.
Press the clear key. The LCD screen will return to the
previous window and the symbol “C” will disappear.
The preset values will return to the default setting (the
same settings as when you purchased the machine).
