INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE GRANDE HEURE GMT
The crown has three positions
Neutral position
GMT time-setting position
Local time-setting position
Starting the watch
Crown in position . This position enables
you to restart the self-winding movement
manually by turning the crown upwards ( ).
Important note
:
It is recommended that
this action be performed before each use
(minimum 40 turns).
Setting the time
(reference time – blue hand)
Pull the crown out to position . Then turn
the crown upwards ( ) to move the hands
until the blue hand shows the required time.
The two hands turn together.
For accurate time-setting, ensure that the
last adjustment of the hands is made by
turning the crown upwards ( ).
After this operation, push the crown back
to position ; then turn the crown down-
wards ( ) to ensure it turns freely.
Setting the time (GMT – red gold hand)
Pull the crown out to position 2. Then de-
pending on the time zone chosen turn the
crown upwards ( ) or downwards ( ) to
move the hand forwards or backwards to
the required time.
For accurate time-setting, ensure that the
last adjustment of the hands is made by
turning the crown upwards ( ).
After this operation, push the crown back
to position ; then turn the crown down-
wards ( ) to ensure it turns freely.
Kindly remember:
This watch is guaran-
teed water-resistant to 3 bar (30 metres)
provided the crown is in position .
Important:
If the watch receive an inadver-
tent shock it is possible that the two hands
may display up to four minutes apart. But
they will come together again automati-
cally within ten minutes at the latest with
no action required from you. It is however
possible where necessary to put the hands
together manually by fine adjustment using
the crown as indicated above.
