INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE TROPICAL BIRD REPEATER

The crown has two positions
Neutral position
Time-setting position
S Slide (located at 9 o’clock)
Starting the watch
Crown in position . This position
allows you to restart the hand-
wound mechanical movement by
turning the crown upwards (
▲
)
for about 21 turns so that it is
fully wound (48 hours of reserve
power).
Important note: It is recom-
mended to do this before every
use. When the watch spring is
fully wound, a slight resistance
can be felt.
Setting the time
Pull out the crown to position
.
Turn the crown upwards (
▲
)
or downwards (
▼
) to move the
hands to the required time.
After this operation, push the
crown back to position; then
turn the crown downwards (
▼
)
to ensure it turns freely.
After this operation, push the
crown back to position; then
turn the crown downwards (
▼
)
to ensure it turns freely.
Minute Repeater Function
Pull out the crown to position .
Press the slide (S) protruding
from left-hand side of the watch,
located at 9 o’clock, downwards
(
▼
). Release the slide (S) to acti-
vate the repeater mechanism.
This minute repeater sounds the
hours, quarter hours and minutes
with three different tones.
Important note: Do not move
the hands while the minute
repeater is activated. This would
risk breaking certain parts of the
movement. Wait for the striking
to finish before setting the time.
Reminder: This watch is not
water-resistant.
