RESONANCE SUPPORT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
TROPICAL BIRD REPEATER
The resonance support amplifies the sound made by minute repeater or striking watches.
In order to perfectly communicate the residual vibrations of the watch case, press the watch against the resonance support (from position A
to position B) during the activation of the minute repeater function or the striking mechanism, so as to benefit from an amplification of the
sound. Its conical shape adapts to all bracelet sizes and thus ensures a solid hold of the watch.
The resonance support may be used like a sound display by setting the watch on top of it.
This musical work of art – made of natural wood from the Swiss Jura region – must be handled and cared for according to the following
recommendations: because the exceptional sound board acting as a vibrating membrane is made from spruce, and the base from beech and
white fir, it is advisable to avoid exposure to overly dry places or sources of heat (solar rays, radiators, display cases, etc.), so as to preserve
its sensitivity and efficiency.
