5.  Extend piping stubout through the floor as illustrated in

Figure 7.

Piping between the remote blower location and

the bath can be insulated using a minimum of 1/2” thick

insulation.

warNING:

Any  modification  to  the  equipment  is  not

recommended and will void the manufacturers warranty.

6.  Attach one end of the hose to the bath connection and

attach the other end of the hose to the 1-1/2” PVC pipe

that is plumbed to the blower with the included clamps.

7.  The keypad cable, remote control cable (if applicable), and

the light cable must be routed through the floor cutout and

connected to the control box.

warNING:

 When routing

cables,

do not allow the cable to be pinched under the bath.

Use the tie buttons attached to the bath to support the

cables.

NOTe:

A minimum of four (4) feet of hose and cable must

be free from binding to allow for pulling the cables back

up through the floor cutout.  When installing on a cement

slab a conduit may be used if desired to run the cable from

the bath to the control box.  This will allow the bath to be

lifted and removed from the skirt if access is required in

the future.

During installation if it is preferred to run the blower hose

on top of the floor, a 2 1/2” diameter hole can be drilled in

the toe kick area of the skirt.  A means to cover the hole,

hose, and wires is not provided.

(See Figure 7.)

8.  Before finishing the installation, it is recommended that the

bath controls be tested without filling the bath with water

to assure all electric connections are properly working.

Refer to the

Operating Instructions

section on page 11 or

12 for testing.

Faucetry connections should also be tested for leaks at

this time.

9.  Remove the 2” x 4” boards and lower the bath into the

skirt.

warNING:

When you lower the bath into the skirt, do not

allow the hose sections to bind.

 Align the drain and overflow

with the corresponding bath holes and the bath brackets

with the pre-drilled holes in the skirt.

(See Figure 8.)

Jason baths are designed to be supported at the base of the

bath.  If the floor is smooth and level the bath’s Level Form™

Base will provide proper drainage and support.

(See Figure 8.)

NOTe:

The bottom of the bath’s Level Form™ Base must be

level with the bottom of the skirt.)

 Note:

  Do not use a sand

bed to install or level the bath.

10. Start with one (1) bolt and lift the bath enough to partially

install the bolts.  Do not tighten the bolts completely at

this time.  Align the bolts with the slot in the bath bracket.

Repeat  the  process  until  all  six  (6)  bolts  are  partially

installed.

11.Continue to fully tighten all six (6) bolts  with a 3/8” open-

end wrench.

(See Figure 9.)
