General installation instructions
When installing the device, observe the in-
stallation requirements given in the in-
cluded Jäspi safety instructions.

If the domestic water system pressure is over
6 bar, a pressure reducing valve must be in-
stalled in the system
Mounting the wall bracket
When mounting the device to the wall, the
wall bracket must be fastened to the wall with
steel screws at least 4.2 mm in size.
The wall bracket is fastened to the wall so that
the minimum measurements to the ceiling
and wall are H and W

Pipefitting
Pipes must be fitted and the system must be
filled before powering up the device.
A feed mixing valve is included with the de-
vice.
If the feed mixing valve on the hot water accu-
mulator is installed separately, all applicable
regulations and the Jäspi safety instructions
must still be observed.
The relief valve discharge pipe must be di-
rected downwardly with no obstructions so
that water coming out of the pipe will not
cause damage to the property. The relief valve
discharge pipe must never freeze.
The water heater must be installed with a
fixed connection to the water mains. Hoses
must not be used in installation.
Filling
The water heater must be filled with water be-
fore powering up the device.
The warranty does not cover device malfunc-
tions caused by dry running it.
After dry running the device, the thermostat
limiter must always be replaced with a new
one and the heating element resistance and
isolation resistance must be checked to verify
that they are correct.
