Electrical installation
Electrical installations and maintenance must
only be performed under the supervision of a
licensed electrician and in full accordance with
valid electrical safety regulations.
If the mains power cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, a service
technician authorised by the manufacturer or
a person with equivalent qualifications in or-
der to prevent any hazards.
Water heaters come with a hook-up cable,
which can be plugged into ground fault pro-
tected outlets. The device must never be
plugged into an outlet without ground fault
protection.
3 kW models have a power output of 1 or 3
kW. When plugged into the mains power, the
device has a power output of 1 kW. If a power
output of 3 kW is desired, the hook-up cable
may be used, but the plug must be cut off and
the wires must be connected directly (2 x
400V)

For fixed installations, a separate disconnect
switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm
must be installed.
