• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the reach of
children. They are potentially dangerous.
• Don’t allow children play with the appliance.
• Keep the steam iron and cable cord out of the reach of children under
the age of 8 when connected to the mains or when it is cooling.
• Do not connect the appliance to the mains without checking that the
voltage on the rating plate and that of your household are the same.
• Ensure the plug has an adequate earth base.
• Do not put anything but water in the tank.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• The appliance must be used and rest on a stable surface.
• Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped, if there are visible sings
of damage or if it is leaking.
• When placing the appliance on it stand, ensure that the surface on which
the stand is placed stable.
• Do not leave unattended while in use.
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains when filling the tank with
water.
• Avoid any contact between the cable and the hot parts of the iron.
• Leave the iron always in its supporting.
• During the first use it is possible that the products used in the manufacturing
process of the appliance may contaminate the steam. We recommend
that you allow the steam to flow for a few minutes before starting to
iron.
• The iron may have some smoke and / or smells during the first few uses.
This is completely normal in this kind of appliances.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
• The possible rests of water in the tank are due to the quality controls
done in our production lines.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done by children
without any supervision.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an Authorised
Service Centre.
