ATTENTION
• Read carefully these instructions before using the appliance for the first time and keep it for future
enquiries.
• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the reach of children. They are potentially dangerous.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water nor place it in wet surfaces.
• Do not maintain exposed to high temperatures.
• Place the scale on a horizontal rigid surface.
• Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or chemical products.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
BATTERY INSERTION
• The scale works with two batteries of 1,5 V. type R3 (Not included).
• Open the battery housing lid.
• Insert the batteries and make sure the poles are correctly positioned and then close the battery doors again.
WEIGHING
• Push the on button.
• If you are going to use a container to weight, first place it on the platform. Also you can weight the
food directly on the platform.
• Press / TARA and allow the display to set to “0”. You can choose the weighing system in grams
“g” or pounds:ounces “lb:oz” by pressing SET. The display indication “weight” appears. Perform
weighing.
• You may add items to those already weighed without removing them by pressing / TARA. The
display will show “0”.
• If the tare weight is greater than 5000 g, pressing / TARA, the symbol
will appear in the lower
left corner of the display.
• Place and remove the items with care.
• When the weighing stabilizes, the symbol
is displayed on the screen.
• The appliance switches off automatically a few seconds after weighing.
• You may switch off the appliance by pressing the / TARA, (on / off button) for a few seconds.
MEASURING LIQUIDS (WATER-MILK)
• Press on / off button and allow the viewer to “0”.
• The scale has the option to measure water and milk in millilitres’ “ml” or mugs “cup”, by repeatedly
pressing SET.
• Measuring in “cup” shows the volume of liquid measured in a cup of 250 ml. Examples:
· 250 ml-------------1 cup.
· 500 ml-------------2 cups.
• Place a bowl over the platform. Push / TARA to show “0” on the display, after that you can measure
water or milk.
