TENSÃO DAS LINHAS

A tensão das linhas afectará a qualidade dos pontos: 
pode requerer certo ajuste quando se muda de tecido 
ou de linha.

NOTA:

 Recomendamos que faça uma experiência num 

pedaço de tecido antes de começar a coser no tecido

Ajustes errados possíveis e seus resultados

A

 linha superior está demasiado tensa: Aparecem rugas 

na superfície do tecido

 Disco de controlo da tensão superior: Diminua a 

tensão ao colocar o disco num número inferior.
ou

A2

 Bobina: Aumente a tensão da linha da bobina 

apertando o parafuso no sentido dos ponteiros do 
relógio com a chave de parafusos pequena que é 
fornecida.

B

 A tensão da linha superior é fraca: Aparecem pontos 

lassos no avesso do tecido.

B1

  Disco de controlo da tensão superior Aumente a 

tensão colocando o disco num número superior.
ou

B2

 Bobina: Diminua a tensão da linha da bobina. Alivie 

o parafuso, rodando-o no sentido contrário ao dos 
ponteiros do relógio com a chave de parafusos pequena 
fornecida.

 Tensão correcta: É necessário ter uma tensão correcta, 

dado que a tensão insuficiente ou demasiado forte 
enfraquece as costuras ou franze o tecido.

TENSION ADJUSTEMENT OF UPPER THREAD

Thread tension will affect the quality of your stitches.  
It may need to be adjusted when you change fabric or 
thread type.

NOTE: 

It is recommended that a test sample be made 

on a fabric scrap before sewing on your project.

Possible mis-adjustments and their results 

A

 Upper tension is too tight. Locks appear on the 

surface of the fabric 

A1

 Upper tension is too loose: Decrease the tension by 

turning the dial to a lower number 
or

A2

 Bobbin: Increase the tension in the bobbin by 

turning the screw with the enclosed small screwdriver 
in a  clockwise direction.

B

 Upper tension is too loose: Locks appear on the 

reverse side of the fabric.

B1

  Upper tension control dial: Increase the tension by 

turning the dial to a higher number.
or

B2

 Bobbin: Decrease the tension in the bobbin by 

turning the screw with the enclosed small screwdriver 
in a counter clockwise direction.

 Correct tension: It is necessary to have a correct 

tension, because if it is either too loose or too tight, your 
sewing is going to weaken or gather the fabric.
