JNSGyro-2T Overview
JNSGyro-2T Overview
The system JNSGyro-2T is based on GNSS receivers. When power is turned on
the JNSGyro-2T’s two 20 channels receivers initialize and begin tracking
visible GPS satellites. Each of the JNSGyro-2T boards’ channels can be used to
track P-L1, or P-L2 and Carrier signals. The number of channels available
allows the system to track all visible satellites at any time and location.
Once the signal is locked in the channel, it is demodulated and necessary signal
parameters (carrier and code phases) are measured. In addition, broadcast
navigation data are retrieved from the navigation frame.
After the JNSGyro-2T boards lock on to four or more satellites, it is possible to
solve the so-called “absolute positioning problem” and compute the JNSGyro-
2T boards’ coordinates (in WGS-84 or another datum) and time. All this
information can be downloaded through the appropriate port onto a computer
and processed when needed.
JNSGyro-2T can also operate in the RTK or DGPS modes receiving differential
corrections from an external base station to provide differentially corrected
position and velocity.
