Getting Acquainted
• Antenna – The GPS/GLONASS antenna connector (50 ohm TNC
female type); allows the receiver to accept RF signals from the antenna
and to supply DC power (+5 V DC) to the antenna’s low-noise amplifier
(LNA). The antenna current is limited to 200 mA for the Euro-GGD
card.
Notice:
If the antenna draws a current over the mentioned limits, a short-
circuit protection device will disable the supply of electrical power
to the antenna.
• Event – The BNC event marker connector; provides event input
synchronized with a specified reference time.
• 1PPS – The BNC connector for 1 pulse-per-second (1PPS); generates
1PPS signals with programmable reference time, period, and offset;
synchronized to a specified reference time.
