The
radio transmission channel
is used to carry a message
(a logic state) on an RF frequency. The
ISIS
product provides a
choice of 18 radio channels. On installation, it is important to know
the radio transmission channels being used in the vicinity (over a
radius of around 100 meters).
The
identity code
is used to code the radio messages transmitted
between an
ISIS
transmitter and an
ISIS
receiver. This product
provides a choice of 256 identity codes (by “ID” DIP-switch).
In an application where several
ISIS
assemblies are operating
together on the same site, as a safety measure, each
ISIS
assembly (1) should communicate with different identity codes :
