JAYCO TOWABLE SECTION 10-APPLIANCES
Locate the black locking lever at the base of the swing
arm. Push in on the lever while pulling forward on the
swing arm. Swing the cooktop unit open as far as the
swing arm will allow.
Locking Lever
Locate the support leg on the back side of the cooktop unit. Push in and hold the release
button on the support leg while pushing the bottom of the leg extension in allowing it to
drop from the stowed position to the support position. Push in and hold the release button
once again to allow the extension portion of the support leg to drop down to the
appropriate height to support the cooktop unit. Make sure the support leg is setting on a
stable solid surface.
NOTE:
The cooktop will function more efficiently when level. The support leg
should be adjusted to ensure to cooktop is as level as possible.
Attaching the “quick coupler” connection
The “quick coupler” is directly connected to the RV propane system. The “quick-coupler”
connection has a positive shut-off valve as required by code and standards.

Place the “quick coupler handle in the OFF position and push back the sleeve. The
valve handle must be OFF to make the connection.

Insert the plug and release the sleeve.

Push the plug until the sleeve snaps forward, locking the plug into the socket.
8.
Turn the handle ON to allow propane to flow to the drop in stove.

WARNING
The support leg must be down and in the support position prior to using the cooktop.
Be sure the support leg is on a stable solid surface. Using the cooktop without the
support leg or not having the leg on a stable solid surface may increase the risk of hot
food or utensils falling off the cooking surface resulting in serious injury.
WARNING
The maximum capacity of the cooktop with the support leg down is 50 lbs. /
23kg.
Never use the cooktop without the supporting leg, or lean on the cooktop or
swing out assembly. Setting items on the cooktop that exceed the weight limit,
using the cooktop without the support leg or leaning on the cooktop could cause
damage to the unit or result in personal injury.
