5-Way and 8-Way Power Remote (if so equipped)
The remote is an optional item that may or may not be avail-
able for your RV.
This system gives you remote control over several functions in
your RV. The 5-way remote will operate (4) systems (with mo-
tors) and (1) light circuit. The 8-way remote will operate (7) sys-
tems (with motors) and (1) light circuit. Examples of systems with
motors include stabilizers, slideouts, and awnings. Both remotes
operate in a similar fashion; the 8-way will have more “pages”
on the display since it will operate more devices. The handheld
remote is located in a holder inside the entrance door.
Remote Operation
To power on the remote, press the silver (HOME) button. The dis-
play will prompt you for a pin and show numbers on the screen. The default pin is 0,0,0,0.
You should create a personal pin number. After you enter your pin number, the remote will
display a menu of devices that can be controlled. To power off the remote, press and hold
the “HOME” button for 5 seconds until the display goes dark.
Programming a Pin
The PIN code for the handheld remote provides personalized security, as well as a safety
feature to prevent inadvertent activation of functions. These instructions apply only to the
LCI wireless remote.
DSI FLT - Direct Spark Ignition Fault (if so equipped):
This light above the GAS water
heater switch on the Command Center panel indicates a problem with the LP portion of the
water heater. When the GAS switch is turned on, the light will blink quickly 3 times and the
water heater will ignite. The light will then remain off. If the light comes on and stays on, it
indicates the gas side of the water heater has not fired and there is a problem with the igniter.
This light does NOT appear on the touchscreens, remote or Wi-Fi app.
Operating the Lights:
Select the LIGHTING icon and
the lighting control screen opens (
Fig 10
) allowing you
to control lighting in your RV.
To operate, scroll through the list and find the light you
want to control. Individual lighting controls will appear
on this screen. If the switch is ON, the light bulb for
each item will illuminate.
If the ALL ON switch is selected, all the lights shown on
the screen will turn ON. Likewise selecting ALL OFF turns
all the lights OFF.
All of the lights will light in steps to prevent a power surge.
Light switches may have to be toggled twice for them to
operate as this system is multiplexed with the command
center panel and other wireless controllers in the RV.
Fuse Location:
There are two fuses controlling the Wi-Fi
system and the multiplex network. They are the (2) red 10
amp fuses located in the load center (
Fig. 11
).
