Section 4: Vehicle Operation
Left jack button:
activates left jacks in manual mode.
Right jack button:
activates right jacks in manual mode
Rear jack button
: activates rear jacks in manual mode
Auto Leveling Operation
Landing gear jacks can be operated any time the system is “ON”. Turn the leveling system
ON by pressing the ON/OFF button. The LED indicator below the switch will light.
Engine must be running.
Parking brake must be engaged (parking brake LED will be ON solid).
Pressing “AUTO” button begins the automatic leveling cycle.
After starting the leveling process it is important not to move around inside the coach until
the unit is level and the green LCI logo light illuminates in the center of the touchpad.
Failing to remain still during leveling could affect the performance of the leveling system.
If further adjustments are necessary, simply push and hold the “MAN” button for
approximately 5 seconds. The light under this button will illuminate. Push the appropriate
leg button to override the system and level the coach to your liking.
FRONT: Both front (landing gear jacks) can be extended
FRONT + LEFT: Extends left front jack
FRONT + RIGHT: Extends the right front jack
REAR: Both rear (landing gear jacks) can be extended
REAR + LEFT: Extends rear left jack
REAR + RIGHT: Extends the rear right jack
Press ON/OFF button to de-energize the system.
Manual Leveling
Place a carpenter’s level on the floor, inside the motor home. Level the motor home front to
rear first, then left to right.
Press ON/OFF to turn on the system.
Push and hold MAN button for 5 seconds.
Push FRONT until jacks contact the ground and lift front of coach 1 to 2 inches.
Push REAR until jacks contact the ground and lift the rear of the coach. Keep button
depressed until bubble on the level is centered.
Push LEFT or RIGHT button. If bubble (on level) is towards the left of coach, push RIGHT
button. If bubble (on level) is towards the right of the coach push the LEFT button. Bubble
should be centered on the level.
Press ON/OFF button to turn the system off.
Inspect all jacks to ensure all footpads are touching the ground.
NOTE:
The right and left jacks are used to level the coach side to
side. Pushing the LEFT button extends both left jacks (front & rear).
Pushing the RIGHT button extends both right jacks (front & rear).
Jacks always work in pairs, both fronts, both rears, left sides, and
right sides.
