MAINTENANCE
AVOID
Coupler
Use a small quantity of WD-40
on moving mechanism and all
points of movement in actuator
to insure ease of operation.
We recommend that you use con-
ventional grease on the ball of
hitch for ease of operation.
Tongue Jack
Lubricate the jack by extending
to full down position and insert
SAE 30 oil through oil hole in
top of jack. Do this several times
per season.
It is very important to check tires
often as noted in Chapter 3.
Tires
DO NOT ignore checking tire
P.S.I. pressures often. Always
check tire pressure during
travel & before each trip.
It is important to have brakes
adjusted by selling dealer at 200
miles (322 kilometers) after ini-
tial break-in period.
After initial break-in it is recom-
mended to adjust the brakes
following each 3,000 miles (5000
kilometers) or at beginning of each
season’s camping trips.
Brakes
It is very important to keep
brakes adjusted as poorly ad-
justed brakes will not function
correctly and cause accelerated
wear.
DO NOT use grease or oil on
posts as this lubricant will at-
tract dirt and cause tent to
become dirty.
Lifter Posts
Your telescoping posts should be
lubricated semi-annually with a
light coat of silicone spray to
insure smooth, trouble-free op-
eration. Do not permit spray to
reach tent.
