6. Insert gudgeon into the other end of the drive pipe and secure with two aluminum
rivets. Refer to Figure 6.
7. Curtain fabric is supplied with 1/4" rope inserted into the top pocket. Slide the fabric
onto the drive pipe by inserting the fabric top pocket and rope into the groove of the
drive pipe. Roll the drive pipe so that one complete wrap of fabric is on it.
8. With all roller cradle assemblies in the "OPEN" position, hoist drive pipe and curtain
fabric up into the cradles. Secure cradle assemblies into "CLOSED" position. Refer to
Figure 7. Confirm drive pipe is complete in line and level from cradle to cradle. Slide
drive pipe left or right to locate the curtain properly.
*** IMPORTANT NOTES ***
When hoisting the drive pipe and fabric, lifting points should be no greater than 15'. If
necessary, small slits can be made in the vinyl to pass a cable or cord. All hoist points
shall lift together to avoid damage to the drive pipe.
