Disc Loading 

To open the CDT3-MK3 top loading door, slide the lid towards the rear of the unit 
fully. The CDPRO2 assembly shall be visible, and the Disc Clamp shall be accessible.  
Lift the Disc Clamp gently by holding the center part of the Disc Clamp. Place a disc to 
the center of the disc holder. Place the Disc Clamp in the center of the disc and disc 
holder.  
The Disc Clamp is magnetic, once it is in position with the center of the CDPRO2 
spinner, you should feel the grip. Please note that the Disc Clamp must be in the 
correct position for the CDT to be operational. 
Slide the top loading lid towards the front of the unit fully. The top loading lid limit 
switch must be triggered for the CDT to be operational. 
 
 

 

Playback 

Turn on the rear power switch. After about 5 seconds of spinning the disc, the CDT 
automatically enters power-on state, and the OLED display flashes “Reading” 
indicating that the disk information is being read. 
After the disc information is correctly retrieved, the disc information’s will be 
displayed. For example, "16 64:18". At this point, the CDT is in normal operation. 
Hit the Play button on the front panel to start playing the tracks.  

 
 

 

Change Disc 

It is recommended to stop playing the current disc before changing the disc. This 
allow the CDPRO2 mechanism motor to stop spinning gradually. Press Stop button on 
the front panel to stop playing the current disc. 
Slide the top loading lid towards the rear of the unit fully. Retrieve the Disc Clamp 
and Disc gently. Follow the same steps stated disc Loading above.
