3.2 TIME SETTINGS
Proper time settings are critical for many of the operations of the Hotspot Gateway. The device fetches its time
from a NTP server and synchronises by querying the NTP server. To change the time on the device, the
following steps are to be followed:
1.
Click on
Time
under
System
in the Web GUI.
2.
In the
System settings: Time
page,
select the time zone closest to you by selecting it from the
Time
zone
dropdown list.
3.
You can specify the
Time update interval
in minutes for the amount of time between synchronization
requests to the NTP server.
You can set this value to 0 to disable synchronization.
4.
You can specify the NTP time server
from which the time is to be fetched by typing it in the
NTP time
server
text box.
You can specify multiple NTP time servers by separating them with spaces.
5.
Click
Save
to apply the new time settings.
